Position title:AVP/Senior Manager - Business Development Reporting to:RM-WEST or Country Head - Sales The Role:

Candidate would be responsible for Business Development in Western Region. A result oriented business development professional experienced in Banking and Financial Services Industry dealing in B2B space in building new business and garnering newer portfolio and managing a team/region.

The brief description of the functions associated with the above mentioned areas of work are:

Should be able to understand customer requirements and position solution offerings appropriately.
Network and leverage existing relationships to augment business potential for the company
Maximizing new business / revenue generation - making the relevant sales pitch indicating client value propositions aimed towards delivering the business opportunity.
Tap into Vendor networks to identify possible areas of partnership to deliver product / financial propositions.
Funnel Management.
Managing Partner alliances and exemplary Account Management thereby repeat business from the customer
Liaise with funding partners for cross selling opportunities especially in terms of “product fit”
Providing Sales forecast for the Region and subsequent variance explanations
Preparation and review of pricing proposal working based on Customer’s requirement and presenting to management for approval
Coordinating with Business Finance team for securing Funding

Essential experience/qualities:

Knowledge of leasing industry preferable.
Ability to interpret and analyse data especially understand financial statements and derive financial position
Knowledge of Direct and Indirect tax laws to understand ramifications on solutions being offered.
MS Office experience - moderate to expert knowledge preferred on MS Office applications especially MS Word ; XL and PowerPoint
Self-starting capabilities to identifying newer opportunities and tapping unexplored sections of the markets.
MBA – Marketing / Finance
Experience of 5-7 Years in handing aforesaid role

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position title: AVP – Business Finance & Treasury Reporting to: Sr. VP & Head – Treasury & Finance Position based in: Mumbai Job Description:

Liaising and dealing with OPC’s funding partners (Banks, NBFCs and FIs) on day to day basis for:
- Securing credit lines for Lease Rentals Discounting (LRD) emanating from OPC’s clients.
- To check and discuss with funders (Banks, NBFCs and other FIs) on continuous basis for in-principal approval on all deals placed by BD team
- Negotiation of Rate (discounting rate), Sanction conditions etc.with funders for OPC’s LRD facility
- Ensuring that the relevant information / documents required by funders on referred clients is collected through BD team and other sources and the same is remitted to funders to enable them for the purpose of credit evaluation of the deals
- Ensuring the queries raised by funders in the process of credit evaluation are attended to and are resolved satisfactorily by co-ordinating and facilitating interaction between funder and client in close co-ordination with team
- Attending any queries, concerns or issues raised by funders in due course of business and promptly taking it to satisfactory closure or resolution thereof by seeking inputs and guidance of MANCOM and external consultants
Actively Drafting, Vetting and negotiating and finalising the contracts and other legal matters and deal related documents w.r.t. funders and customers
Evaluation of OPC’s Customers Financials & Business Risks.
Reviewing the RFP documents, escrow account agreements, contracts executed by client with third parties being considered by OPC for funding (outsourcing contracts) and presenting the same internally to MANCOMM for further discussion
Overseeing and ensuring the divisional MIS / dashboard is presented to MANCOM timely at the required frequency. Attending the review meetings thereof.

The incumbent should have the following qualities / qualification:

Educational Qualifications:

The incumbent should either be a Chartered Accountant(preferred) or MBA in Finance major with minimum of 7 to 10 years’ of experience in the above mentioned areas of work and should preferably in the age bracket of 30 to 35 years.

Preferred Abilities:

Experienced in front end interaction with bankers / FIs in setting up credit lines, fund raising and negotiation of rate and other commercial aspects.
Experience in vetting, reviewing and negotiation of legal documents and contracts
Ability to work closely with business and counterparties
Should be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Should possess strong communications skills – both written and verbal with ability to evaluate and present
Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point and Word with ability to handle complex databases.
Possess excellent internal personal skills
Should be self-driven and outgoing personality.

Essential experience/qualities:
